The man, the story teller, the artist, fisherman, father, loved one, has departed our circle to follow his true endeavors, and he will be missed, but always remembered. May he continue his love of nature within the Summerland.

After a rather discomforting battle with Crohn's Disease and other assiociated health problems, Wally passed away from this planet of ours on September 22, 1994.

Wally's ashes were scattered by the willow tree planted in his honor on his land in Kentucky.

Wally retired in 1990 from working as a metallurgucal observer, for 33 years in a steel factory. He enjoyed working with wood and leather, and was known for his unique, and sometimes very strange, walking sticks and shafts.

We do not have to rely
upon memories
to recapture the spirit
of those we have loved and lost -
